I don’t particularly enjoy reading policy pages myself, so I’ll try to make this brief and easy for you to read, for your convenience.
“My Japanese Experience” is a website and online shop dedicated to helping students around the world follow their dream of studying in Japan with a MEXT scholarship. Here you will find information, study materials and a wide diversity of books about this scholarship. When you use my website, download free samples or purchase my books, you accept these terms.
“My Japanese Experience” site allows you to buy digital products that will aid you in your quest for the MEXT scholarship. I also have free samples and Japanese study materials and games that you can use for your studies. At the moment, you do not need an account or to register to purchase my products.
The items on My Japanese Experience Website are owned and copywritten by me. You can only use these materials for your benefit. You are not allowed to resell or upload on the internet. However, you can print them if it helps you with your study.
Disclaimer
The information contained in my books is the experiences, opinions and viewpoints of myself and other MEXT students. I am a former MEXT student, and I am not working with any Japanese embassy. What you read in my books is either my experience, the experience of other MEXT students, or research work.
The procedure for selecting MEXT students differs slightly from country to country. If you have any questions related to the forms or application process in your own country, please always ask at the Japanese embassy from your own country. You should never seek as an only source the information from my website or any other website on the internet.
As well, obtaining a MEXT scholarship involves many things. But most importantly, it’s about how well you prepare for the exams. The impression you leave after your interview, how serious and determined you are, how well you put together your application file. There are many factors involved, and it all depends on you. Just by reading my books will not guarantee you to get the scholarship. This is just so you can understand the process, know what to expect, practice past tests, maybe make your list of questions for the embassy, etc. I am not responsible for your actions or result of the application, not positive nor negative. It is entirely up to you, solely your responsibility.
Refund policy
Given the nature of digital content, a refund or credit on a purchase is not possible. Thank you for your understanding.
Before making any purchases, please read the descriptions of the books, what they contain and make sure you understand what you are buying. If you are not sure, or you have any questions before making your purchase, you can write to me, and I will try to answer your questions in the shortest amount of time. If you read the description, preview the sample materials, and then make a purchase, it means you have evaluated the digital product. This implies that you decided you want to make the purchase.
Your responsibility
You must read the product description carefully and check the free samples before making any purchase. Talk to your parent or legal guardian if you want to make a purchase and you are under 18 years of age.
Making a purchase
To make a purchase, you add the product to the cart by clicking the “Add to cart” button. Make sure that it is only one book of a kind, in the quantity section. Then you have two options: “Proceed to Checkout” or “PayPal”. If you have a PayPal account, you can opt to pay with it by clicking the “PayPal” button.
If you want to pay by credit card, you click “Proceed to Checkout” and enter your billing details. Then click “Place order” and “Create an account.” And this option will take you to the page where you insert your credit card details. On this form, you enter the credit card details to make the payment. The payment is secure. I use SSL provided by HostGator and WooCommerce for my online shop. No information related to your card comes to me.
After the payment has been made, you will receive a message with “Order Details” Product name and below “Download”. You click here and wait for the file to load. Please don’t hurry up, it takes a few seconds or minutes depending on your internet speed. The file will open, and you have two options: “Open in files” or “More….” If you click “Open in files,” the document will download onto your computer or mobile. If you click more, you can send the link per e-mail and download from there.
If you cannot make the download, please contact me, and I will resend you the link per e-mail.
Updates
If you already made a purchase, you can request the purchased book again if you noticed I posted an updated version of it.
I am doing my best to update my books regularly. However, there is an enormous amount of work involved, and as you well know, time is never enough.
Quality
Quality is essential to me, and I do my best to provide high-quality content as well as an appealing aspect. I am continually improving my books by editing them, checking for mistakes or rewriting problems which might not be detailed enough or clear enough. This takes a lot of work and dedication. If you find any errors, please let me know so I can correct them.
As well, these books are a work in progress. There are still a few problems that I need to add, and there can never be enough exercises. Therefore, I am continually working on them. For the Math for Undergrad MEXT, I have been working for the past three years. Please try to understand and appreciate that I am doing my best. I am investing a lot of time besides my daily activities, family time, house chores, job, and others. I am doing this because I enjoy it, and I want to aid students who share the same dream as I did, which is living and studying in Japan.
